Walkin’, Chapter Six.

All I need to do is pack (and that won’t be done until Wednesday evening thanks to a busy old week).  The Three Peaks Challenge is only five days away.

My lovely, trusty old walking boots have actually seen Snowdonia before – a sixth form Geography trip which resulted in, amongst other things, a drunk teacher – but before they are reintroduced to Wales I thought it was best to introduce them to the old favourite bonkers walk from Limehouse to the HMV on Oxford Street.

They tore my feet to shreds.

I write this hunched over in pain, now just wishing for this bloody challenge to be over so I can carry on wearing skater sneakers (my footwear of choice- they’re like cushy bathubs).  But at least the boots have been broken in a little bit, and the walk was a new record; quicker and faster than ever before.  This could have possibly been because I test ran the Dextro energy tablets as well; seriously, I was pretty much cartwheeling past Tower Bridge.  These little vitamin tablets have already paid for themselves.

This is likely to be the last time I write about the Three Peaks before the Three Peaks; so wish me luck!

Last bit of rattling, you lovely generous people!
