A good walk for Good Friday.  I decided to kick off the long weekend with some actual exercise, before Easter takes its toll; it’s going to be a busy one.

Clearly, when doing exercise, consistency is key (well, so I’ve been told); so I walked the same route as before.  However today, I decided to tech up- surely my brand new iPhone pedometer will enhance my work out!

Hmm, maybe not, as the walk still knackered me out, but it was fascinating to see how many steps it is from Limehouse to Oxford Street HMV, what my average speed was and also what the actual distance was (a shade over 12 miles).  Basically, it’s turned my Three Peaks preparation into a Sky Sports-esque orgy of data, numbers and charts.

Plus- cracked the walk in under three hours!

I am so inspired right now!
