You may recall that back in March I announced that I was going to walk the Three Peaks Challenge.  This alarming odyssey of personal discovery, sweat and pain is now confirmed for 15 June 2012.

You may also notice that on the right hand side of this page there is a link to my JustGiving website.  Here is another link (expired, removed) to the site.

*Sound of rattling tin cup*

All money raised (I am hoping for £300) will go to the Prince’s Trust, a charity which does a damn good job in helping young adults, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.  It gets them back on their feet, into work and motivates them to achieve and become whatever it is they want.  This is something that I fundamentally believe in, as much as the Prince’s Trust themselves.

Anyway, I’ll stop banging on and let the Prince’s Trust website do all the talking.  In the meantime, I’ll chuck in another link (expired, removed) to my JustGiving page.

Better chuck in one more (link expired, removed).

For those who will donate- I will not let you down!  Training is currently ongoing and I already feel fitter than ever.  The next step will be to get some proper hiking boots- I was going to Three Peak it up in a pair of scabby old trainers, but an ex-army acquaintance advised me against this dreadful idea…

Thanks for reading!  And here is a link (expired, removed) to my JustGiving page, just in case I haven’t added one already.  Can’t be too careful, you see.
